In 1999 we opened our virtual doors of the first online bookstore in the Netherlands.  Nowadays we change retail to make everyday life easier, together with 1,900 colleagues. This is where we are at right now:

Bol.com has grown massively in a short time. Colleagues with different competencies, personalities and expertises have enormous power to make bol.com successful. If you are a strategic thinker or someone who likes to get up and start trying things, everyone is welcome with us.

Besides that, we are different, we also look a like. We are connectors and team workers. All colleagues have a natural curiosity, are customer focused, want to know why we do the things we do and dare to be critical.

That’s why we don’t always focus on the big innovative steps. We prefer little steps who fundamentally make the difference for our customers and partners.

Because we are one of the leading e-commerce companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, we mostly work off the beaten path.
