As an Intern Business & IT Security you will be part of a team of hackers, defenders and problem solvers. ‘Offensive’ and ‘Defensive’ specialists work together as a combined team to keep bol.com secure. We build and run security solutions to keep the entire bol.com landscape secure, from office IT and cloud, to the systems that make sure the conveyer belts keep on spinning. Our team is responsible for security operations within Bol.com which includes security monitoring, awareness, incident management and keeping track of the overall security posture of bol.com systems and data.

To bring our security to the next level, we are creating a clear security standard which provides guidance to all employees of bol.com on how to securely build products. To make this successful, we need to collaborate closely with both technical and business experts to create a standard that everybody can agree on. It needs to provide a dot on the horizon to work towards, but also provide practical guidance for the engineers to work with.

What are you going to do?

• Assisting in interviews with business & IT stakeholders to gather requirements
• Assisting in workshops with experts from different fields
• Create documents based on the gathered input
• Communicate with our stakeholders (including senior management) on our progress
