By ensuring that bol’s most complex, high-stakes strategic initiatives hit the mark. As the Head of Program Management for Product, Tech & Data, you own the execution performance of programs that define bol’s next chapter: AI adoption at scale, infrastructure enablement, new business models, and cost impact initiatives. Not a role for someone who excels at Power-Pointing incremental improvements, but a unique opportunity to turn strategic ambitions into operational reality for 14 million customers and 43,300 partners. Your department-wide man-date includes direct line management of senior program and project management leads, and indirect influence over Product, Tech & Data leadership. You report to the Director Strategy, Portfolio & Excellence.

Program management at this level isn’t about keeping Gantt charts up to date. It’s about turning strategic ambition into operational reality. What you will do as Head of Program Management

You lead and develop the program and project managers within Product, Tech & Data, building a high-performing capability that operates consistently and at department scale. You translate portfolio decisions into structured, executable programs. You oversee alignment, integration, and dependencies across strategic programs and domains. And you manage value realization; measurable business impact is your favorite KPI. This is a role with two objectives. The first is building and developing an exemplary long-term PM capability. At the same time, you need to ensure the most critical programs don't lose momentum, coherence, or accountability. In practice:

• Own execution performance and delivery quality across cross-functional strategic pro-grams,
• Ensure superb alignment, integration, and dependency management across strategic programs and domains
• Drive and safeguard value realization: efficiency gains, cost impact, scalability, and adoption
• Execute and scale AI transformation initiatives, ensuring sustained organization-wide impact beyond the pilot stage
• Safeguard delivery success by protecting scope, dependencies, resourcing, and decision-making conditions, including cross-program dependencies and system-level risks
• Assign and supervise work, escalating decisively when required to safeguard outcomes
• Manage clear prioritization, role clarity, professional development, and consistent ways Ensure strategic programs are robustly embedded in the organization with effective handovers to line and operational teams

You have relevant expertise in program and project management disciplines at the department level, and a proven track record in leading, developing, and aligning senior program and project management professionals. You operate comfortably at the director and board level. Presenting, escalating, and challenging come naturally, even when the information is imperfect.
