Business & Proposition Development

Within the Job Family Business & Proposition Development, you define direction, develop new and optimise existing bol strategies, business models or propositions for the wider organisation or a designated area (e.g., partners, logistics, ecosystem) based on partner or customer needs, to improve financial sustainability, differentiate from competition, and make bol the most attractive platform to sell and buy.

What you'll do

Key Accountabilities within Business & Proposition Development

    • Research & Analysis

      Conduct research, to analyse opportunities and threats in the market and spark insights for bol positioning and how to improve the brand promise for customers and partners, while considering the bol strategy and possible implications.

    • Strategy & Concept Development

      Develop and improve bol strategy and/or concept for a proposition, define the reasons to innovate, as well as the business case for change and provide direction around how to anchor these in the organisation, taking the target audience.

    • Proposition & Business Model Development

      Define and build new propositions and/or business models which are financially sustainable, and make sure they fit within bol context and its overall strategy and positioning, as well as implement these new propositions/services within the organisation and processes.

    • Leadership & Project Management

      Lead multidisciplinary teams, provide direction, and align all domains/departments involved around the same goal; manage the project and report progress, in order to develop a strategy and/or competitive proposition, to ensure plans are translated into concrete projects and outcomes are realised within planning and financial targets.

    • Networking

      Explore the market, spot possible suitable partners, engage internal stakeholders and create strategic alliances with 3rd parties, in order to get the best deal for bol and to achieve a functional business model and/ or platform improvement.
