Bol is dedicated to continual enhancement of its platform to enrich the experiences of over 13 million customers, support 52,000 selling partners, and engage numerous advertisers. With a vast user base and an extensive network of partners, our platform generates a wealth of customer interactions and data points daily.
As a lead, you will collaborate closely with a team of approximately five product analysts who delve into the rich trove of advertising and customer behavior data. Together, your mission is to unearth insights that drive the development of new, pertinent, and impactful products.
Your primary focus lies within the realm of Awareness and Consideration products. In this capacity, you are entrusted with shaping a platform that empowers advertisers to cultivate brand awareness among consumers in a seamless and compelling manner, across various touchpoints and contexts. This part is new in our domain and thus you need to be able to set up the data, metrics and all stuff related to it! Once brand awareness is established, your team transitions to Consideration products, designed to facilitate the customer’s decision-making process, ultimately leading to purchases on our platform (the conversion part is in another product in which you will closely work together with the lead responsible for that part of our domain).
The teams under your guidance are dedicated to innovating novel approaches to advertising, ensuring that our brands effectively engage with our customers in a manner that resonates and adds value to their experience. Through creativity, relevance, and inspiration, we aim to elevate the advertising landscape and enhance the overall journey for both brands and customers alike.
What you’ll do as Lead Product Analytics?
- Inspire, mentor and coach ~5 product analysts in 2 advertising product teams (awareness & consideration focused).
- Work in the brand-new Awareness product yourself to get your feet dirty in the data treasure hunt (= meewerkend voormens).
- Ensure clear metrics & tracking in the product teams connected to their goals and OKRs.
- Very capable of telling a story to convince and advice your team and domain which next data driven steps to take.
- Develop & execute a compelling and consistent WoW for all product analysts in our domain together with 5 other shopping & advertising product analytics leads.
- Responsible for creating & safeguarding golden standards for data quality within the products.

In this role, you’ll work in the Shopping & Advertising Products Department. You will report to our Head of Analytics and will be responsible for product analysts working in several advertising teams and together with 5 other product analytics leads you will service and develop the entire department.
